The method involves detecting dimensions of bulk goods (4), which can be discharged, where the bulk goods are moved to a sorting table (1). Several discharge units (3), which are arranged next to each other, are controlled. The axial extension of all the controlled discharge units corresponds to the detection of the dimensions of the bulk goods. The bulk goods, which can be sorted, are shifted parallel to the stream of the bulk goods. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a sorting table for accomplishing the method for discharging bulk goods (2) a device for transporting and separating of the bulk goods.
