Disclosed is a bicycle pedal apparatus having a lock function to prevent a bicycle from being stolen. The disclosed pedal apparatus includes a left pedal unit and a right pedal unit respectively coupled to left and right crank arms of a bicycle to be detachable, wherein each of the left pedal unit and the right pedal unit includes a main pedal body; and at least one pair of connection members stored in the main pedal body to be withdrawn. Each of the main pedal bodies and each of the pairs of connection members form a closed loop when each of the pairs of connection members of the left and right pedal units are connected to each other after each of the main pedal bodies of the left and right pedal units are detached from the left and right crank arms to lock the bicycle or to tie the bicycle to a surrounding structure. |
