PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a power division mechanism that functions as a speed reducer when a first motor is used as a driving force source for traveling, and to improve fuel economy.SOLUTION: A controller for controlling a first driven state in which a carrier is fixed and a driving force is input from a first motor to a power division mechanism to be permitted and prohibited, counts time for which the first driven state has ended (step S4); determines a temperature for the power division mechanism on the basis of the counted time (step S13); permits the first driven state when the determined temperature is lower than a preset permissible temperature (step S15); and prohibits the first driven state when the determined temperature is not lower than the permissible temperature (step S10).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
