PURPOSE: A guardrail provided with a shock absorber is provided to protect a driver and a vehicle by maximizing the function and effect of a guardrail by absorbing the impact caused by a collision. CONSTITUTION: The guardrail provided with a shock absorber contains: guardrail posts(10) installed on both sides of a road at regular intervals and provided with an inner space and an upper cover; many wire handrails(20) installed between the guardrail posts(10) to prevent vehicles from deviating off from a road at a car crash and inserted into the guardrail post(10) to be fixed on the inner side of the guardrail post(10); many wire handrail supporters(30) fitted at regular intervals through the guardrail post(10) to support the wire handrails(20) inserted to the guardrail post(10); and auxiliary wire handrails installed vertically between the guardrail posts(10) to connect the wire handrails(20) mutually.
