<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect disconnection of a discharge LED with simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 81 includes: a drive control part 811 which applies drive voltage to the discharge LEDs 361 corresponding to the predetermined number of colors (four colors in this case); a disconnection signal generation circuit 362 which outputs disconnection signals S1 to S4 that are signals showing the occurrence of the disconnection in the corresponding discharge LED 361 for every predetermined number of colors (four colors), respectively; a logical circuit 363 in which the disconnection signals S1 to S4 of every predetermined number of colors (four colors) are input and which outputs the logical sum of the disconnection signals; and a first decision part 812 which decides whether the disconnection occurs in at least one discharge LED 361 out of the discharge LEDs 361 corresponding to the predetermined number of colors (four colors) based on a signal SD from the logical circuit 363. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
