PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of manufacturing a plastic lens where powder of a gasket material scatters in a cavity, an excessive monomer composition existing in the fill port of a gasket body is pulled in the cavity in the polymerization of the monomer composition, and striae is not caused at the place near the filling port of the plastic lens obtained by the polymerization. SOLUTION: The filling port part 10B of a casting mold 2 is welded by an ultrasonic welding device 20. The ultrasonic welding device 20 is equipped with a hone 24, an anvil 25 and a press tool 40. The welded part A of the filling port part 10B is pressed and held by the hone 24 and the anvil 25, and the part B on the cavity side rather than the welded part A is pressed and held by the anvil 25 and the press tool 40.
