The surrounding portion (2) may have a matt finish (3) and is corrugated with sharp bends at the peaks (4) and troughs (5) to make this portion more flexible. The front of the button foil may have an alphanumeric symbol printed on it and there is an inward-extending flange (6) at the edge which may be printed.
