<p>NEW MATERIAL:An adenosine derivative of formula I (group of formula II is the skeleton of adenine riboside; Z is H or group of formula III; Ac is acyl; Ph and Ph' are phenyl or substituted phenyl; NB is o-nitro-4- and/or 5-unsubstituted or substituted benzyl). EXAMPLE:5'-O-Dianilinophosphoryl-N<6>-benzoyl-3'-O-(o-nitrobenzyl)-ade nosine. USE:A synthetic intermediate for 5'-triphosphoryladenylyl-(2'-5')-adenylyl-(2'-5')- adenosine of formula IV, having an inhibitory action on the proteinic synthesis, found in cells treated with interferon, and expected as a carcinostatic agent. PROCESS:An adenosine derivative of formula V (Ac and Ac' are acyl) is condensed with a dianilinophosphoric acid halide of formula VI (X is halogen), and the protecting group of the 2'-hydroxyl group is removed.</p> |
