PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor-standing type information code reader capable of improving reading performance for a picked-up image obtained by imaging a visual field range by suppressing polarization of illumination light.SOLUTION: A floor-standing type information code reader 1 includes a light guide member 50 disposed at a position where illumination light from an illumination light source 21 is radiated within a case 3 so as to be configured to guide the illumination light from the illumination light source 21 to be radiated to an outside of the case 3 via an opening region γ of a read port 5. This light guide member 50 guides the illumination light so that illumination light passing through a high illuminance region defined near a peripheral edge portion of a visual field range AR is higher in illuminance than illumination light passing through a center part P1 of the visual field range AR in the opening region γ.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
