The invention relates to a leak measurement arrangement for installation in a thermal insulation between an inner and an outer pipe of a water line, having a sensor wire (1) extending along the water line and forming a part of a measurement circuit. In order to create advantageous design relationships, according to the invention the sensor wire (1) is arranged within a closed shell (9) made of a water soluble polymer.
