A circuit board is equipped with electrical components and at least one unit, in which the respective unit has a retention zone which comprises a neck and a thickening connected to the neck, and in which the thickening is retained in the region of a plated through metallised aperture of the circuit board and held by solder material. Independent claims are included for the following. (A) A light-guide; and (B) A light-guide arrangement.
