<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a tab terminal for an electrolytic capacitor which does not generate a tin whisker from a welding portion, even when a lead wire which can be procured from a wire rod maker or the like and is plated with lead-free tin is used for the tab terminal as it is. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the tab terminal, an aluminum core wire having a pressurized part is welded to the end of the lead wire formed with a metal layer composed of tin on a surface of a core material. This method contains the steps of: welding the aluminum core wire to the end of the lead wire formed with the metal layer composed of tin on the surface of the core material, and pressurizing the end of the aluminum core wire to prepare the tab terminal; and cleaning the tab terminal with a phosphorus based solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
