<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission line with a slit whose characteristic impedance being a desired value can easily be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In the transmission line with a slit, a first ground conductor 11 is formed to a lower side of a first dielectric layer 21. A signal line 1 through which a sine wave signal with 10 GHz is transmitted is provided to an upper side of a second dielectric layer 22. A second ground flat conductor 12 is provided around the signal line 1 to surround the signal line 1. The second ground conductor 12 is provided at an equal interval (gap G) around the entire circumference of the signal line 1 in parallel with the signal line 1. Further, a planar conductor 13 having the slit 31 with a slit width of Ws is formed between the first and second dielectric layers 21, 22 just beneath the signal line 1, that is, at a position opposed to the signal line 1. The characteristic impedance of the transmission line is brought into a desired value by changing the dimension of the slit 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
