PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of detecting whether or not a 3-prong plug or a 4-prong plug is inserted into an earphone jack used commonly by 3-prong plug and 4-prong plug.SOLUTION: A CPU2 determines whether or not a 3-prong plug or a 4-prong plug is inserted completely into an earphone jack 12, by detecting whether or not the terminal A and terminal A' of the earphone jack 12 are connected with the left sound terminal (L) of the 3-prong plug or a 4-prong plug, and the terminal B of the earphone jack 12 is connected with the right sound terminal (R) of the 3-prong plug or a 4-prong plug.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 |
