PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method capable of heightening efficiency of a production process for covering a sheath on a ballon wound part of a balloon catheter body having many varieties.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus of a balloon catheter includes handling means 1 for taking out one sheath 94 from among a plurality of sheaths 94, cutting means 2 for cutting the sheath 94 at a prescribed position in the axial direction so as to be set at a proper length, support means 3 for supporting the cut sheath 94 in the opened state without blocking one end opening part 94a into which at least a balloon catheter body is inserted, and positioning means 4 for positioning the sheath 94 supported by the support means 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
