PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head unit and a liquid discharge device which solve a problem when a drive IC is mounted on an actuator substrate.SOLUTION: A drive IC 50 mounted on an actuator substrate includes bumps 54a and 56a connected to one end and the other end of a piezoelectric element of a nozzle array; and bumps 54b and 56b connected to the one end and the other end of the piezoelectric element of the nozzle array. The bumps 56a are disposed along one side of the drive IC 50, and the bumps 56b are disposed along the opposite side of the one side. A region including the bumps 54a and 54b is sandwiched between a wiring pattern 550a in which the bumps 56a are aligned and a wiring pattern 550b in which the bumps 56b are aligned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
