PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an accurate distance measurement even when a reflected light quantity distribution on a surface locally varies.SOLUTION: A distance measurement device includes: image acquisition means for acquiring a first photographed image capturing a measurement target object to which a pattern for measurement is projected and a second photographed image capturing the measurement target object irradiated with almost uniform illumination; smoothing filter determination means for determining a smoothing filter to be applied for the first photographed image; smoothing filter application means for applying the smoothing filter determined by the smoothing filter determination means for the first photographed image; and measurement means for measuring a distance to the measurement target object on the basis of an image for which the smoothing filter is applied by the smoothing filter application means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
