A board-shaped component (1) forms a wall, ceiling, floor and/or furniture panel with an integrated lighting unit (4) that fits inside the component being free from any derived timber product. The plate-shaped component is a metal plate/panel, a gypsum plaster board or a glass/plastic panel of light construction (2). It is also a multilayered composite panel/board with a honeycomb core, preferably aluminum. The component has a covering layer (1b), preferably made from solid wood, in which there are one or more holes (6). |
