The invention relates to a device for drawing and treating a thread group in a melt spinning process. The device has at least two driven godets and a swirling device arranged between the godets. The swirling device contains a thread treating channel for each thread. The aim of the invention is to prevent dirt from accumulating in the surroundings of the swirling device due to a blowing stream loaded with volatile components. According to the invention, this is achieved in that a suction nozzle is arranged on an outlet side of the swirling device, said suction nozzle having a suction opening at a free end and being connected to a suction device at the opposite end.
