<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the mixed state of carrier and toner and also to disperse aggregated toner by imparting fluidity and electrification characteristic to the toner. <P>SOLUTION: The aggregated toner 80 flows from directions shown by arrows B and A from the upside of an AC magnetic field generating device 72 in the developing device. Then, excess developer flowing from a flow plate 71 flows from the direction shown by the arrow A. The developer exists just under the AC magnetic field generating device 72, and the carrier 82 in the developer reciprocates in an up-and-down direction shown by an arrow C in the AC magnetic field generating device 72 by the action of magnetic force by a coil, and collides with the aggregated toner 80. The toner 80 becomes toner 81 which is minutely dispersed and is not aggregated, and also is preliminarily electrified by the collision with the carrier 82. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
