A METHOD FOR SENDING AND RECEIVING THE OFF-LINE MESSAGE, A CLIENT APPARATUS, A SERVER AND A SYSTEM

A method for sending and receiving the off-line message, includes: an off-line message transmission client sends the off-line message to an off-line message process server of an off-line message receiver over a message session relay protocol MSRP channel; the off-line message process server stores the received off-line message. The off-line message client obtains the off-line message stored in the off-line message process server over a message session relay protocol MSRP channel. During establishing the MSRP channel, there are two case whether the instant message server participates in establishing the MSRP channel. A complete resolution is provided to the off-line message in the SIP/SIMPLE instant message service system.
