[Problem] To provide a space-saving window regulator that has a low number of components and can suppress abnormal noises by reliably attenuating the wire vibrations that occur when a door in a state in which a pane of window glass is arrested by a top end is closed. [Solution] This window regulator is provided with the following: a carrier plate connected to a pane of vehicular window glass; a drive unit that raises and lowers the carrier plate; a raising wire, one end of which is connected to the carrier plate and the other end of which is connected to the drive unit via a direction-change member; and a lowering wire, one end of which is connected to the carrier plate and the other end of which is connected to the drive unit. The drive unit is disposed below the lower-limit position of the carrier plate in the direction in which the carrier plate is raised and lowered. An attenuation member is provided on the raising wire between the direction-change member and the drive unit. When the raising wire vibrates, the attenuation member contacts the raising wire and attenuates said vibration. |
