<p>When a navigation device receives, from the outside, information notifying an occurrence of congestion on an expressway in a route in the traveling direction, it determines whether the expressway is provided with a car pool lane. Then, according to an instruction of the user, the navigation device re-searches for a route using a car pool lane. Consequently, when an expressway is vacant, there is no need to use a car pool lane by running the risk of changing lanes.</p> |
