PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk type recording medium holder capable of providing information according to a held disk type recording medium, and generating a large advertisement effect of the held disk type recording medium. SOLUTION: In a CD case 1 including a supporting member 51 fitted into a hub hole of a CD and a holding plate 50 for holding the CD with the supporting member 51 being fitted into the hub hole of the CD, a sheet-like sound information recording/reproducing unit 30 capable of reproducing the recorded sound information and including a switch 33 for reproducing the sound information in an area opposing the supporting member 51 is built in the holding plate 50.
