PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data library system for efficiently inspecting an optical disk managed by the data library system.SOLUTION: A library device control unit executes control to perform a first recording quality inspection of recording media, classifies the recording media on which data is recorded into inspection groups according to a predetermined condition, and determines a representative recording medium from among the recording media classified into the inspection groups on the basis of the result of the first recording quality inspection. The library device control unit executes control to perform a second recording quality inspection of the representative recording medium, and determines, on the basis of the result of the second recording quality inspection, the timing of carrying out a third recording quality inspection of the inspection group and the recording medium for which the third recording quality inspection is carried out from among the recording media classified into the inspection groups.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
