CYCLONE DUST COLLECTING APPARATUS AND VACUUM CLEANER HAVING THE SAME

A cyclone dust collecting apparatus and a vacuum cleaner having the same are provided to simplify the inner structure of the cleaner and reduce the pressure loss by discharging the air separated from the dust into the lower end of the dust collecting box and directly the air to the motor driving room. A cyclone dust collecting apparatus is composed of: a cyclone body(110) containing a first cyclone chamber(111) for firstly centrifugally-separating the dust from the air sucked from the outside, and a second cyclone chamber(121) for secondly centrifugally-separating the dust from the air discharged from the first cyclone chamber; a dust collecting box(160) combined at the lower part of the cyclone body to collect the dust separated from the air; and a discharge guide duct(150) formed by penetrating the cyclone body and the dust collecting box so as to guide the air discharged from the second cyclone chamber to the outside. The discharge guide duct is formed by longitudinally penetrating the cyclone body and the side of the dust collecting box.
