PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably complete fully-closed abutting control processing without causing damage to a throttle body provided with a default mechanism.SOLUTION: An electronic control unit 1 controlling the opening degree of a throttle valve 11 urged in an open direction in a predetermined opening range from a fully closed position by a default mechanism, calculates a fundamental drive duty of an electric motor M in response to a drive voltage of the electric motor M for driving the throttle valve 11, sets a drive duty on the basis of the calculated fundamental drive duty, actuates the electric motor M at the set drive duty before the throttle valve 11 is driven up to the fully closed position, and drives the throttle valve 11 toward the fully closed position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
