The invention relates to medicine, and more particularly to the creation of a medicinal composition in the form of a gel for external application, which exhibits antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and wound healing effects and is intended for the pathogenetically based treatment of burns, wounds and trauma of various etiologies. The present medicinal composition in the form of a gel for external application can be used in the topical treatment of II-IIIa degree superficial thermal burns to the skin, chemical burns and dermatitides, non-healing trophic ulcers (wounds), wounds associated with diabetic foot syndrome, pressure sores, soft tissue trauma (haematoma, abrasions, contusions, etc.), and also a number of skin diseases of inflammatory etiology, in prehospital (preadmission) settings and also in hospital and ambulatory conditions.
