<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch mechanism that is highly producible and rational, and a vehicular auxiliary machine having the mechanism. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic spring clutch for use in a water pump heater as a vehicular auxiliary machine is so constructed that a bulkhead portion 2b of a front housing 2 integrally has a stator 5 in which an electromagnetic coil 5a is housed. The number of parts and the number of assembly steps can be reduced, and the coaxiality of the stator 5 can be improved in relation to the front housing 2. A length t1 of the stator 5 can be shortened and a wall thickness t2 of the bulkhead portion 2b can be thinned to improve mounting work and to promote heat conduction from the electromagnetic coil 5a to a jacket water W side by way of the bulkhead portion 2b and maximally prevent a reduction in the attractive force of the electromagnetic coil 5a by overheat.</p> |
