<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly reliable result of measurement without extending the measuring time. <P>SOLUTION: The ophthalmic ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus samples measured values of a target tissue to be measured such as the axial length and the thickness of the cornea based on the reflection echo from the eye tissue received by an ultrasonic probe in contact with the cornea of the eye to be examined, selects measured values included in a prescribed permissible range of dispersion as effective data, and automatically stops measurement when the number of effective data reaches a prescribed value. The ophthalmic ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises a storing means for storing the measured values of the target tissue to be measured, sampled based on the reflection echo from the eye tissue, and a control means for setting a plurality of groups in a prescribed permissible range of dispersion, counting the number of measured values included in the set groups and selecting the measured values in the group including the largest number of measured values as effective data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
