PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of restricting a number of production of printed matters by simple procedure.SOLUTION: A pinter cartridge 100 has material holding means 110; a material supply interface 120; and material residual amount detecting means 130. The printer cartridge 100 also has printer identification means 140; print data supply means 150; and print data supply stopping means 160. The material residual amount detecting means 130 detects the residual amount of material held by the material holding means 110. The print data supply means 150 supplies print data enabling the printer to form printed matters, to the printer. The print data supply stopping means 160 stops the supply of the print data when the residual amount of the material detected by the material residual amount detecting means 130 becomes less than a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
