<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method and an image recorder in which an optimal focus position can be determined by outputting a focus adjusting image one time. <P>SOLUTION: In the image recording method, focus of light from a light source is adjusted by exposing and outputting a focus adjusting image while varying the relative distance of an exposure plane and an optical system stepwise when image recording is performed by exposing/scanning the exposure plane of a sheet-like recording material on a cylindrical surface with light from the light source through the optical system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
