PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust roller bearing capable of suppressing an increase in the flange height of a race without causing space capacity problems and possibly causing breakage, even when increasing the protruded amount of a locking pawl provided at the flange front end of the race. SOLUTION: The thrust roller bearing comprises a cage 2 holding a plurality of rollers 3, and the race 4 put in non-separated relation thereto. The race 4 has a flange 6 on the outer diameter side of an annular plate portion 5 as the raceway surface for rollers 3 along the axial direction. At a plurality of circumferential positions on the front end side of the flange 6, semi-ring-shaped locking pieces 7 are provided, respectively, which are protruded near the annular plate portion by the pressing work of a punch 11 and hooked on the outer diameter side of the cage 2 in the axial direction.
