PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative plywood with high surface smoothness and an orange peel of 15 or less, and a manufacturing method of the decorative plywood. SOLUTION: An acetic vinyl-based adhesive is applied to a 2.5 mm thick plywood with an apply amount of 15 g/m<SP>2</SP>(dry), and the applied plywood is dried in a dryer at 70°C for 20 seconds. Decorative paper of a basic weight of 80 g/m<SP>2</SP>is placed thereon and heat-pressed integrally at 105°C, at 6 MPa for 10 minutes. Then resin liquid (a) having unsaturated polyester resin A of the following composition as the main component is applied to the surface of the decorative paper, PET film is covered thereon and the resin liquid is uniformly spread with a roller.
