PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a connector equipped with a power source contact to smoothly get insertion-coupled with a counterpart connector even in case of discrepancy if any in an insertion coupling position. SOLUTION: The floating type receptacle connector 1 is provided with a fixed-side housing 10 jointed and fixed to a substrate 90 with an inner space 12, a movable-side housing 20 having a protruded part 22 with a receptacle concave part 23 formed for receiving a plug connector 70, a plurality of signal-use contacts 30 arrayed in a back-and-forth row with one end held by the fixed-side housing 10 and the other end by the movable-side housing 20, and power source contacts 40 larger than the signal contacts in a back-and-forth size and arrayed in the same row as the signal-use contacts 30 in a back-and-forth direction with one end held by the fixed-side housing and the other end by the movable-side housing. The power source contacts 40 are constituted of halved parts of a first power source contact 41 with an intermediate part connected to one end and a second power source contact 45.
