The objective of the present invention is to provide an electrolytic solution provided with superior battery characteristics and suppressing the generation of gas. The present invention is an electrolytic solution containing a non-aqueous solvent (I) and an electrolyte salt (II), and is characterized by containing 0.001-20 mass% of the compound indicated in general formula (1) or general formula (A): R1-ORf1-(ORf2)l-(ORf3)m-CN (1) (in the formula: R1 is CH3-Rf-, CH2F-Rf-, or CHF2-Rf-; the Rf in R1 is an alkylene group that may contain a fluorine atom; Rf1, Rf2, and Rf3 may be the same or different and each is a fluoridated alkylene group having 1-3 carbon atoms; and l and m may be the same or different and each is an integer from 0 to 5); RA1-ORfA1-(ORfA2)l-(ORfA3)m-CN (A) (in the formula: RA1 is a group containing an unsaturated bond and having 2-9 carbon atoms; RfA1, RfA2, and RfA3 may be the same or different and each is an alkylene group that may contain a fluorine atom and has 1-3 carbon atoms; and l and m may be the same or different, and each is an integer from 0 to 5). |
