PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the hardness of a seat to a sitter in a seat structure having a pad inside the seat of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In a seat cushion 14 of a seat 10, a first actuator 30 feeds air to the inside of an air bag 26 via a communication pipe 28 with an air valve 32 opened by the control of a second actuator 34 to adjust the air pressure in the air bag 26 and adjust the hardness of the pad 20 and consequently the hardness of the seat cushion 14. After the hardness of the seat cushion 14 is adjusted, the air valve 32 is closed by the control of the second actuator 34. This constitution can adjust the hardness of the seat cushion 14 to an appropriate hardness for an occupant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
