PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-material molding apparatus in which, even if an injection unit is separated from the body of an injection molding apparatus, the risk of a work in maintenance and repair works for the injection unit can be reduced.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a multi-material molding apparatus, comprising an injection molding apparatus and an injection unit that can be mechanically connected to the injection molding apparatus, and performing multi-material molding. When it is detected that an injection molding apparatus and an injection unit are not mechanically connected to each other, an operation of the injection unit is regulated. As a result, even if the injection unit is separated from the body of the injection molding apparatus, the risk of a work in maintenance and repair works for the injection unit can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
