<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator low in impeller noise emitted indoors during operation, moreover with little intrusion of outdoor noise. <P>SOLUTION: The ventilator comprises an outer casing 5 installed on the outdoor 30 side of an external wall 1 of a building to cover an air hole 1a in the external wall, and having an exhaust port 5b in a side part; a scroll casing 9 installed in the outer casing, with a side part blowoff port 8 connected to the exhaust port and with a front suction port 11 facing the outdoor side, and forming an exhaust passage 50 between itself and the outer casing; a centrifugal impeller 6 installed in the scroll casing; and a motor 7 for driving the centrifugal impeller. Indoor air is sucked into the scroll casing via the air hole, the exhaust passage and the front suction port and exhausted from the side part blowoff port and the exhaust port connected to the side part blowoff port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
