PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a writing implement for a magnetic display panel which has a plurality of magnets disposed in one shaft tube and retracted into the shaft tube when they are not used and which makes it possible to project and retract a desired one of the magnets selectively from the fore-end opening part of the shaft tube when it is used. SOLUTION: A plurality of writing bodies having the magnets different in outer diameters and magnetic poles fitted as writing tips to the tip of a holder, are provided. The writing bodies are stored inside the shaft tube, under energization backward by coil springs, while the writing body selected from the plurality of writing bodies are made to slide by operating an operation part provided in the shaft tube, and set in a delivering mechanism which makes it possible to project and retract the magnet as the writing tip from the fore-end opening part of the shaft tube.
