摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon material for an anode of a nonaqueous secondary battery in which initial gas and retention gas are rarely generated by decomposition of the nonaqueous electrolytic solution, which is excellent in stability, of which irreversible capacity is small, which suppresses rise of resistance at low temperature, and which is excellent in input/output characteristic and capacity, and a nonaqueous secondary battery using the same.SOLUTION: A carbon material for an anode of a nonaqueous secondary battery includes a composite particle (A) and a composite particle (B). The composite particle (A) is a spherical type composite particle adding a polymer which is slightly-soluble in the nonaqueous electrolytic solution to a graphite particle (C). The composite particle (B) is a composite particle mixing a graphite particle (D) and a carbonaceous matter.
