<p>Provided are protrusion height measuring method and apparatus for accurately measuring the height of a protrusion. The protrusion height measuring method is provided with an imaging step of imaging, from an elevation angle, a region on a work surface including a protrusion to be measured; a protrusion region extracting step wherein a region in an image is divided into a bright region, dark region and an intermediate region based on luminance values of the image picked up in the imaging step, a region configured by the bright region and the dark region is regarded as a protrusion region that corresponds to the protrusion, a region configuredby the intermediate region is regarded as a work region that corresponds to a work, and the protrusion region is extracted from the image; a diameter bus measuring step of measuring the length of the diameter corresponding section that corresponds to the bottom surface diameter portion of the protrusion region extracted in the protrusion region extracting step, and the length of a bus corresponding portion that corresponds to the bus portion of the protrusion region; and a height calculating step of calculating the height of the protrusion, based on the length of the diameter corresponding portion, the length of the bus corresponding portionand the elevation angle.</p> |
