PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker capable of adding pressure in a desired period. SOLUTION: The cooker comprises: a cooker body 11 for storing a cooking pot 10; a heating means (an induction heating coil 17) for heating the cooking pot 10; a lid body 24 for clogging the cooking pot 10; an exhaust passage 36 for communication between the cooking pot 10 and an external part; a sealing means (a relief valve 37) for clogging the exhaust passage 36, so as to perform pressurization in the cooking pot 10, and opening the exhaust passage 36, so as to obtain balance between the pressure in the cooking pot 10 and the atmospheric pressure; temperature detecting means (temperature sensors 19, 30) for detecting temperature inside the cooking pot 10 and the temperature of the pot 10; a pressurizing means (a diaphragm pump 44) for adding pressure being higher than the atmospheric pressure to the inner part of the cooking pot without heating by the heating means in a state where the sealing means seals the cooking pot; and a control means for controlling cooking by controlling the heating means, the sealing means, and the pressurizing means, based on detection values by the temperature detecting means.
