PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin-made slide adjuster which can be integrally molded so that the appearance of a buckle part is inconspicuous. SOLUTION: In the slide adjuster for band and buckle, an engaging lug of a buckle is fitted to a serrated engaging groove formed on the outer surface of a band, making the band freely come closer to the buckle but unable to move back from it. The buckle is composed of: a buckle body having an oppositely facing bottom plate and top frame, with side plates connecting between them, and with the interior serving as a band-inserting space; and an operating plate horizontally installed inside the top frame and provided, on the rear face at one end, with a lug to be fitted to the engaging groove of the band and, at the other end, with a pressurizing part. The operating plate is supported with a coupling shaft connecting both side plates, in the mid point between the fitting lug and the pressurizing part, and is thereby made freely rockable with the mid point as a fulcrum. On the outer surface of the band and the pressurizing part, there are installed a pair of hook projections by which the buckle and the band can be hitched with the fingertips of one hand.
