A battery control apparatus may include a voltage regulator configured to regulate a voltage of a driving power supplied from a power supply to a processor, a first switch, located between the power supply and the voltage regulator, configured to switch on and off a connection between the power supply and the voltage regulator, and a second switch configured to control the first switch based on an input of a driving signal to operate the processor. |

1. A battery control apparatus comprising:
a processor; a voltage regulator including an input and an output, the voltage regulator configured to receive power supplied from a power supply at the input, regulate the voltage of the power, and provided the regulated voltage to the output to power the processor; a first switch having a first state connecting the input of the voltage regulator to receive the power from the power supply and a second state disconnecting the input of the voltage regulator from the power supply to cut off the power from the input to the voltage regulator; and a second switch having an output connected to the first switch, the second switch configured to provide a control signal to the output to place the first switch in the one of the first state or the second state. |
