PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device of a four-wheel drive vehicle capable of transmitting appropriate torque to a sub-driving wheel according to a traveling state of the vehicle with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A coupling device of a four-wheel drive vehicle includes: a first coupling part (30) and a second coupling part (40) serially arranged from an engine (3) side to driving wheels (W3 and W4) side in a housing (11) of a viscous coupling (10); and an inner member (25) having an inertial mass and configured by connecting an inner plate group (14a) of the first coupling part (30) and an outer plate group (13a) of the second coupling part (40) to be integrally rotatable. Differential between the first and second coupling parts (30 and 40) with respect to differential between input rotation and output rotation of the entire viscous coupling (10) are 1/2, respectively. Thus, since the viscous coupling (10) can be used in a lower rotational region, torque characteristics are improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
