摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular drive device having an automatic transmission capable of stopping a drive source to enable inertial travel in a neutral state, which can suppress overspeed of a rotational element during the inertial travel.SOLUTION: A vehicular drive device has a transmission mechanism that has first, second, third and fourth rotational elements aligning correspondingly to a gear ratio, and includes : a planetary gear set in which the third rotational element CR3 is drive-connected to an output shaft; a hydraulic control device that can supply/discharge hydraulic pressure to/from an engagement elements C1, C2, B1, B2, B4; and an ECU. The ECU, when stopping an internal combustion engine (rotational element S1) and perform inertial travel, releases the engagement elements C1, C2, B4 connected to the second rotational elements R3, CR2 or the fourth rotational elements S3, S2, and engages at least a part of the engagement element B1 out of the engagement elements B1, B2 for rotating or stopping the first rotational element R2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
