PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque limiter which can release a power transmission state when an unexpected load is applied in any of a forward direction and a reverse direction while securing favorable power transmission.SOLUTION: A torque limiter comprises: an annular large-diameter gear having large-diameter gear teeth formed at an external peripheral face, and engaged parts which are recessively or protrusively formed at equally-divided point positions of an internal peripheral face in a peripheral direction; and a small-diameter gear which is coaxial with the large-diameter gear while separating toward the inside of the internal peripheral face, and integrally has small-diameter gear teeth formed at a position deviated from an end face of the large-diameter gear along an axial line direction, and a shaft part which opposes the internal peripheral face with an interval. The shaft part integrally has a ratchet part having engagement parts which are engaged with the engaged parts with a male part and a female part differentiated from each other, and a leg part which protrudes to a radial direction from an external peripheral face of the shaft part so as to both-end support the engagement parts in an intermediate position of the engaged parts which adjoin each other in a peripheral direction. The ratchet part is formed into a rotation symmetric shape and a linear symmetric shape with respect to a line component passing through a rotation center of the shaft part and peripheral centers of the engaged parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
