发明名称 METHOD FOR MEASURING ACTIVITY OF EUKARYOTIC MICROORGANISM
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring activity of eukaryotic microorganism, which method causes small variation index of each measurement and has higher reliability. SOLUTION: The respiration rate of the eukaryotic microorganism is measured by detecting or determining hydroperoxide or oxygen radical by chemiluminescence preferably in the presence of a catalyst, which hydroperoxide or oxygen radical is generated when the eukaryotic microorganisms metabolize organic materials in the presence of oxide type quinones dissolved in dimethylsulfoxide. The dimethylsulfoxide hardly causing damages on microorganisms is used as the solvent of the quinones, so organic material metabolic activity of the microorganism is not damaged and excellent effects of enabling measurement of microorganism activity and microorganism activity corresponding to organic material amount are provided.
