PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical laminate which can give a long circularly polarizing plate capable of effectively reducing reflection of external light in both a frontal direction and an oblique direction.SOLUTION: The optical laminate includes a long half-wave plate 110 and a long quarter-wave plate 120, both comprising a resin having a positive intrinsic birefringence value. In the optical laminate, an average orientation angle of a slow axis 111 of the half-wave plate 110 with respect to a width direction is 50° or more and 90° or less; an NZ coefficient of the half-wave plate 110 is 1.0 to 1.5; an average orientation angle of the slow axis 121 of the quarter-wave plate 120 with respect to the width direction is 0° or more and less than 50°; and an NZ coefficient of the quarter-wave plate 120 is 1.0 to 1.5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
